So remember that time we went to Philly?
Tonight was probably the best night ever. It started simply, Emily Fisher and myself acting as decoys for the whole Gloria's mom meeting Remix thing. Followed by a trip to hang out on South Street and get cheese steaks. Complete fun.
So the four of us drive into the city and decide it would be easier to just park in a garage and pay the fee then to drive aimlessly around Philly for a spot. Anyway we park and start to walk, all the time looking for Condom Kingdom because we wanted Remix to get embarrassed...but it's not there anymore boo that. So we're walking down South Street and go into a record store of course and for Christmas Emily bought for me a Pedro The Lion cd (the old one...giddy laughter)then we hung out in Starbucks for a bit and met some of Gloria's friends. Then we got some cheese steaks that were not from Sheetz, cause yes they are better that way!
After we ate we walked the rest of the way down to the river and then decided to go see Independence Hall and such (cause Emily has never seen them, gasp) oh and by this time it was at least 10:30....So we walked and walked and took funny pictures and got yelled at by cops and walked and even took more pictures. By this time is was I guess around 11:30 or 11:45 something like that...and by now we have got rather thirsty so we decide to stop at a diner back on South Street, so we go and we order soda's Emily got a muffin and I got this really good cookie....man that thing was good.
Now it's about 12:10 and we remember the parking garage...mainly we remember that we're not sure how long they stay open. Needless to say we think they close at midnight meaning the car is stuck there and we would be stranded in Philly. We freaked out. So we pay the bill stuff the uneaten muffin into Emily's purse, scarf down our drinks and literally run out the door (me still munching on the cookie as I ran) so we were on like 2nd Street and we had to get to 11th..we ran/speed walked the entire way.
At 12:30 we get to the garage and see....oh it's a 24 hour garage! So now I am home and soon pictures will come cause they are funny :o)
Oh and break so far/Christmas was awesome hope yours were too....
