Suddenly I see this is where I want to be
So im back woo, aint you just so happy to see me :P
Berlin was amazing! It is such a beautiful city, and cheap for a capital. The school I worked with was amazing too the teachers were all so friendly and helped me along with my German without being condescending, theyve gave me loads of resources for teaching German back here and am staying in contact with 2 of the teachers I worked with which is good for keeping me practicing. They asked me to go back out when I graduate which Im seriously considering as an option depending on what job offers I manage to get next year. The bonus of it all is the fact that their school day starts and finishes earlier than ours so we had plenty of time to explore. Too musch to list here but pics
It was a bit hectic and left me exhausted, remind me not to ever work a 12 hour shift between 2 flights ever again! But thankfully the kids summer show went as well as it couldve done, though wasnt too happy to be called on stage in socks (Id had to take the boots off cause they were clicking back stage). Just waiting to be paid for it now which sucks, my boss seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth - not great, especially since Im beyond skint right now! I swear Ive never owed more money than I do now but working a residential next week so at least that will put some pennies in the bank.
Spent some time chilling in Turkey too. I love the country but I do think itll be the last time I go with family for 2 weeks as much as its great to only have to think about spending money it drives me insane, plus they seem to be stuck in that resort now and Im still in that stage where I want to see new places. We went to kakaoy and the dalayan mud baths which were the only places we hadnt been before so it definately needs to be a few years before a revist and yes i have pics yes I am obsessed but shh!
Before my travels I was planning on getting my life back on track, and I have, yey me! hehe! The boy has gone just isnt worth the hassle, so im officially on a mantox and have been for a month at least which goes to show those who thought I wouldnt even last that long :P Great thing is Im perfectly happy being on my own which has got to be a miracle for me. Sent off the last letters to the tax office and national insurance people today so I should be getting some money back and my employment is all sorted now just need to make up some hours for how much I spent when I was away, but I suppose Im young it would be unusual if I didnt have stupid amounts of debt.
Keeping myself amused during the summer with the usual performance crap, Im at rehearsals 5 nights a week for the summer theatre production in Saltburn for the run that begins on the 12th. Im worried, I feel Ive been type cast my character works hard but drinks too much and seems to think men are good enough after a few bevvys hmmm..... Other than that in the middle of another local film which appears to have taken a break in production which Im actually thankful for, though again the character worries me a bit of a slutty 16 year old who picks up the protagonist in a bar all good crack though. Also got a photoshoot at Bradford Goth Weekend, I didnt even realise bradford had a goth weekend, but I guess you learn something new everyday, also waiting to confirm another. Just looking at broadening my portfolio for when I graduate incase I decide to take the leap and stick with the performing and move away from teaching, my boss gave me 4 agents to contact at the end of the last term so Ill get round to contacting them and keep my fingers crossed. If nothing else it doesnt hurt to keep my fingers in as many pies as possible.
