I have discovered that I have a horrible habit of making food or coffee and then forgetting about it. I made ramen noodles the other day and just found them in the microwave, saturated with moisture. I made coffee 2 weeks ago. I forgot about it for 3 days and there was mold. I'm not sure which is worse, though; the fact that I did this or the fact that neither of us uses any of these things enough to notice stuff like that.
I decided I'm going to try more art stuff and I want to experiment with ink. So, I went to Michael's and they had basically nothing I wanted. After that, I decided to finally go check out Alabama Art Supply downtown. Their selection was much wider, despite the fact that their store is smaller, and their employees are super-friendly. Three different people offered to help me, one guy told me all about some canvas deal they have going on, and then when I went to check out the two guys at the desk noticed my Flogging Molly shirt and recommended bands to me. So, Michael's? I'm sorry, but they win. It's definitely worth the drive on the interstate (which isn't much worse than the drive to Trussville) and the slightly higher prices.
Then I went to the Whole Foods store and bought pita chips and hummus, which I haven't had in forever and they are delicious. :)
Also, comics.
And your mother.
The End.
