I hear ya, friend. I'm not much of a selfie person either, and when I do take a selfie, it's not for the sake of taking a selfie but more for an outfit I put together (regular or cosplay), showing new glasses, etc. I don't like taking pictures of my food either, because I think it's weird.

And I've been working really hard in trying to grow my social media channels by taking photos that I think look cool (the problem is trying to do this more regularly...which is why I got a planner to help me with this. For business and to learn more skills).

I have long given up on trying to look photo genetic and smiling, and it's kind of a trademark for me to always make a face (the annoyed face, the scrunchy face, etc.). But I think it's just a personality thing.

Just because people take selfies, doesn't mean they're happy or living well. It could be a facade. The one thing I do keep telling myself is that I can control what I make for myself. So, you can control what you make for yourself.

So, you should do what you want with your channels because they are yours. I think one of my goals is to start working on taking better photography. Definitely not really of myself, but of life around me, and some of my art and products. Maybe something to look into if you are looking for a way to do something different with your channels. Different is always better than doing what everyone else is.
