The interview went well, but they still had more people to see so I am waiting anxiously to find out what they decide. They acknowledged the fact my experience and history makes me different and as such they will have to see what sort of position would be best suited for me. I think they liked the idea of me being able to bring something different to their practice, but we'll have to see if in the end they decide its worth their while or if they will choose the easy option of going with someone british who fits into a neat box and job title with no hassle.
After the interview I met a friend and we went to a solidarity with Greece protest in Trafalgar Square.
Yesterday I flew to Athens for a two and a half week summer holiday. I came just in time too! I'm assuming you have all heard about how things are going with Greece and the planned referendum. Its the first time we've had one in 41 years! (They last one was to decide if we wanted to keep the monarchy or not - we didn't) Its cool that I'm getting a chance to vote.
