Final preparations.

The last couple of days I have been hectically preparing for christmas and to fly home on Monday. I have been buying, making and wrapping presents and christmas cards.

Yesterday I experimented with polymer clay and cookie cutters to try and make some christmas tree decorations to give as gifts. They came out a bit wonky, but for a first attempt I don't think they were too bad:

For my own benefit mainly here's a check-list:

- Greeting cards to be posted, posted.
- Greeting cards for friends and family in London, prepared and will be handed out ASAP
- Greeting cards for friends and family in Athens, made but not written in yet
- Gifts all wrapped, bar one: the ink on the scarf I stamped for my mother is still drying. Will wrap Sunday evening
- Etsy/Storenvy orders all sent out bar one: the ink is still drying on the cover of a last minute notebook commission. Will sew up Sunday evening and post Monday morning.

I haven't packed my bag yet, but I always do that last minute.

And when I come back in january I will have to box up my stuff and move it all to my new place. I took measurements and visited IKEA to get any idea of prices and sizes so over the holidays I want to think of the best way to arrange the furniture and what size desk I can fit, and if I can fit a shelving unit as well or not. I also need to get curtains.

And of course in January the crazy job hunt starts, because with paying rent to cover expenses I will be eating into my savings and I can only do that for so long.
