Stuff stuff stuff

1. So today we had two real estate agents come to see the flat and tomorrow we are having a third. The lawyers say three estimates are needed of the flat's value to be able to calculate my gran's estate. Even though this is a bad time of year to sell, the flat is in prime location in Enfield and flats here usually sell like hotcakes. With all the paperwork and everything it should take three months for a sale to go through and be finalised from the time we agree on a buyer. Unless they are paying cash, in which case it's much faster. Let's hope they don't act all shirty about me staying here until I find a place.

2. A while ago I did a favour for a random woman. I'm in various Facebook groups for greeks in London and the UK. We usually give each other advice and post about job openings, flat-shares and that sort of thing. She posted that she needed to take her cat to the vet and needed someone to interpret for her, and she lived very close to me. I offered to help her out, and never even considered asking for money. Especially when I found out we where going to the RSPCA because she couldn't afford a private vet. She was quite touched I did it for free, and has called me up a couple of times since. She got in contact with me the other day about a paid interpreting job. It seems she has connections. I agreed to do it. It's a two hours job quite close by. I'm a bit stressed because it's for medical professionals and they can be quite difficult. But why not? The money is good enough, and if they like me there might be follow-up jobs. Of course the woman is taking a cut. She didn't propose me for the job completely out of the goodness of her heart. But as long as I am satisfied with how much I am getting paid per hour, I don't mind her getting a cut. She might propose me for other jobs. And if she does all the work of networking, why not let her keep a cut?

3. I have been thinking about adding to my Teen Wolf items, by making an Allison Argent scarf with the fleur-de-lys pattern from the Argent family seal. I'm just wondering what colour would suit her.

The colours I have put, are colours I already have at home so I won't need to go to the market again. (Even though I sold all my lovely dove grey SHIELD scarves and should get more. But the market is sooo far. It takes me 1h30 to get there!)

4. I have also been stamping some new simple A6 notebooks to sell them at a cheaper price than the others. I usually sew up my small notebooks, but I have been wondering about stapling these ones instead and adding maybe fabric tape to the edges too. That way they will take less time to make and it would be easier to sell them cheaper. *pondering options*

5. I have decided to stop posting fannish stuff on my inkdoodles tumblr, and keep it like I had originally decided about architecture, design, art, social issues etc. I will use my renamed apareciumprints tumblr not only for fanart like I had been doing so far, but also for all sorts of fannish things, like gifs. It all feels much more organised now. And now it'll be so much easier to link one with my inkdoodles Facebook page and the other with my apareciumprints one. There are not enough hours in the day to actively post on multiple social media platforms, so I cheat by linking them up.
