I am so so behind on answering comments! Blame my new "get-shit-done" schedule. The last couple of days have been set aside mainly for applying for jobs, but tomorrow I will take a break to get some other stuff done and one of those "stuffs" will be answering my comments and maybe posting some de-anoned fest art.
This evening I went to my unemployed architects meet-up. Usually I like the meet-ups: they make me feel less alone and give me new energy to keep on trying. On the journey I usually pick up an Evening Standard to browse and usually get annoyed with the narrow-minded opinions of the privileged writers.
But that's another matter. One article caught my eye in particular. They were discussing the politics of female pubic hair. Why so many women shave it completely off and whether it's time to go back to a more natural look. The article was a bit patronising, but had some truths.
In my opinion women can do whatever the hell they want to their own bushes, provided it is what THEY want and not what they are told they should do. And also can we stop with the shaming of other people's choices over the matter? I prefer to look like a real woman rather than a pre-pubescent girl or a porn star, and I really wish girl-friends and boyfriends would stop judging me on my choice.
