Who: Open to all! What: The Smiths have invited the residents of Mayfield to a party, so come on down! Where: 501 Ricardo Street When: 6pmish, September 28th. Warnings: See below.
Now's the chance. She's got everything figured out for the raid; information is the only thing she lacks.
Specifically, information on the Smiths.
Olivier shows up to the party dressed in her best party dress, and goodness knows she's brought her famous potato salad to the shindig. Her hair's all done up, and that may even be makeup on her face.
Why, whatever lengths will she go to to meet this family? First, she looks for allies...
As she walks through the crowd, Olivier may catch a glimpse of a girl sitting quietly and unobtrusively in the corner. Yuki lifts her head the slightest bit and nods, a movement so slight that it may not seem as if she had even acknowledged Olivier at all.
Information gathering was her forte. Every word that passed through the air tonight, she would collect. This was her purpose of being.
Olivier gives Yuki her own nod of affirmation, and pledges to keep tabs on her location throughout the evening. The one thing she hopes Yuki notes and notes well is that they are strictly outnumbered.
She'll make no moves tonight. And if something untoward should happen to her, well... At least someone will be there to tell the tale.
As he said to the Netherlands, Lucas arrives to the party right when it begins, slipping in amongst the drones with a plastered smile on his face. This was almost certainly some sort of trap. That was why he had to be here -- to at least try and help the others in case anything went wrong. And in the meantime . . . perhaps he could be of use in the 'investigation'.
He'd seen Billy Smith in school a few times the previous year. There wasn't any need to antagonize the other boy. Just strike up a conversation. He'd even been thoughtful enough to bring a present: a shiny red toy car. Now all he had to do was find him.
Though willing to speak to anyone who may approach him, it is Billy that Lucas is looking for. He's keeping an eye out for the Netherlands, too, to stick close by in case.
Fritz has come to this mostly out of a combination of curiosity and 18th century politeness. He'd agreed to meet Salieri there as well If nothing else they could continue thier discussion about their opera. He knows very little about the Smith family except that they're somehow different from other drones. So he grabs a beer (these can things are so strange) and starts to mingle.
Fritz raises an eyebrow at the man. He had by this point met a number of drones that swore they'd know him for years, but it was still a bit disconcerting. And he really couldn't approve of the greeting. No reason to be rude though, so he accepts the beer with a smile.
"Not at all. I'm really quite grateful for your hospitality."
Maybe it's not a good idea to show up at an all-drone party with your close companion. While the concept is relatively foreign to him, he's realized by now that he has to be careful when he's out, with Jolt - who should be here somewhere.
He's dressed up, as best he can be, with the leg brace still on. For now, he keeps to the outskirts of the party - observing for now. He had no idea there are so many drones in this town. It's a sobering realization, even for him.
While still getting used to Mayfield at having left for three years, the party piques Luke's interest enough for him to come investigating. Maybe he'd even get a chance to talk to Lucy or Billy Smith and ask them questions.
He wasn't sure if he'd stick around long, the bad feeling in his gut not going away anytime soon. But it'd be nice to have some answers for why he was brought back from home after three years.
While Luke may be busy with "investigating", he might be scouting out the party table for any good food. Can't investigate on an empty stomach, after all. He keeps glancing back at Roshia too, mostly out of curiosity.

Hahaha!
[The fact that he just slammed an elbow into Lucas's side as he ran by is a complete accident, of course.]

[Ouch. That hurt a bit. Lucas steels himself before calling out and waving.]
Ah, Billy! Hello! Thanks so much for having me over. Your parents are really nice to do this for us all.
