Who: RED Scout and Nia
When: Last Friday (October 1st)
Where: 312 Miller Street and then a restaurant, maybe? WHO KNOWS.
What: Scout has a date. At least, he thinks it's a date. Scout is also very inexperienced with dates, which will make this pretty sad, probably.
Warnings: None!
Scout didn't plan this date out too well. For one thing, the young man hadn't really been on a date before, and so everything he knew about them was second-hand. For another, he was poor. Somehow, sometime, he had gotten the job of construction worker, even though he personally couldn't remember ever applying for that, and unfortunately, construction workers made very little money. Of course, the main factor in being poor was the fact that he had purchased a
jacket from a department store in the mall that was pretty costly. So, in short, he didn't have a whole lot of money to spend on the actual date.
He casually strolled up to 312 Miller Street (after taking a while to find it) and hesitated a minute before knocking on the door. He started to wonder if maybe he should have brought flowers or something, and when he realized, 'crap, I probably should!', quickly glanced around to find something decent. He didn't want to take a flower from this yard, so he ran away from the door and down the street until he was far enough to where Nia probably wouldn't recognize the flower he was about to take. He grabbed what appeared to be a daffodil and yanked it out of the dirt, then ran back to 312 Miller.
Finally, he knocked on the door, flower (and roots) in one of his hands.
