event: every time a bell rings
[The morning of December 17th strikes hopeful. The bitter cold still hangs in the air, but the electricity and heat has turned on in all of Mayfield's homes, and it will stay on, only flickering out occasionally. The drones have stopped malfunctioning. Regains will continue disappearing and reappearing, but they'll disappear less frequently or only in part. The shops are still sparsely stocked, but there is some more food and items on the shelves, enough to avoid concern of running out of the necessities. There are even some gifts stocked, and some Christmas fixings in the cupboard.

Good morning, folks! It seems it's Christmas in Mayfield at last. Now, we can't quite stop tightening our belts just yet, but there's a little more room for holiday cheer. You see, here in Mayfield, we've had a lot of extra baggage for far too long, and now that baggage is gone! Some selfless folks realized they weren't needed or wanted around anymore, and decided not to exist anymore to spare up a little more space for the rest of us.
