Spring Drama list 2017
This is a lightning speed post. XD;
Work is complicated, you know, so let's talk about drama season instead.
I still don't know if get a back up journal al DW, I should've done it last autumn when there wasn't a massive transferring queue but oh well. Will link later if I ever do it.
Actually managed to finish from autumn season: Nigeru wa Hajida ha Yuku ni tatsu, Kaisefu no Mitazono, Suishou no Hodo, IQ 246, Jimi ni Sugoi, CAREER and I'm 1/3 of Unmei ni, nita koi, which seems to be the drama of choice of Takumi-chin.
[Winter season review]
About my winter list.
+ No brainer. A LIFE was amazing, Kimutaku killed it, even when people said it was boring. Your loss, guys. He's the master at projecting WITH NO DIALOGUE.
Takeuchi Yuko is the perfect damsel in distress, Matsuken is flaily and annoying and you'd think he's still so young :P Asano Tadanobu is EVIL and dumb, and Nanao is the usual evil woman. Yes, the ending, but Kimutaku was cool till the end.
+ Uso no Senzou with Tsuyopon is great as well. Tsuyopon is badass as a swindler, Mizuhara Kiko is acting great, and the Cancam model is learning a lot. Kikuchi Fumma keeps thinking he's the reincarnation of Jin in the Agency.
+ Now give me 5 minutes more to flail about Shige in Kirawareru Yuuki. He's being Second lead. He's having LINES! He's a Buddy in distress! He's getting the whole package. Since he's interested in acting, I hope this helps him to polish his acting chops. He's being doing butais a lot and TV is different, requires more subtlety. Hope this give him better chances and get better at it.
On the other hand, why Karina latest roles involve being the unglamourous working girl. IDK if it's a personal choice to not being the ultra pretty girl but she's being presented like that for quite a long time.
+ The best surprise is Totzuzen Desuga, Ashiha Kekkon shimasu, it's what's supposed to be about Getsu9's love and intrigue. Ryota is a pleasant surprise as an actor and he has his dokidoki moments.
I don't know if Aiba will kill it but if the Fuji ratings are that bad, they should get a good writer and cast Hina for a Getsu9. I'm not pimping Yoko because he'll freak out at romance scenes. At least Hina will jump into it.
Also why not get Charlotte-Kate Fox and Kimutaku (because she's taller than him :P)
+Tokyo Tarareba Musume was amusing, but I can't stand the Perfume music (same as always), Still Yoshitaka Yuriko has a great comedic timing and Sakaguchi Kentaro is getting better. He was good in Toto-neechan and I still claim justice for his role there.
+ I'm beginning to watch Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and I don't like that much that concept and we're getting still too much CGI now, but I like the Goody Goody lead, the Bitter Secondary Rider and the Zombie Rider is badass. I don't even like zombies but HE. IS.BADASS. XD
somehow the plot gets interesting and I'm basically I'm there for the zombie rider. XD;
Now about next season, rumour has it that Fuji TV is doing RCP getting three Johnnys for the next 3 Getus 9s: First goes Aiba in something like Mikeneko but without the Cat and Tacchon's sASS, They're reviving CODE BLUE (LIKE FOR REAL!?!?) and rumor has it that by autumn we'll have Kimutaku. The thing is that if Kimutaku is on Autumn season, chances are slim SMAP will leave the jimusho before the year ends. Probably he was booked in advance? Who knows.
If you are interested in the SMAP PVS and have the HD space to spare, go to Tokuswag's masterpost. Like there's nothing better than 90's Kimutaku, a complete force of nature.
I can't believe Beppin-san it's over! It was a great adventure I managed to watch as possible on Dailymotion daily and I'm rewatching with subs little by little.
Plz ignore the age gap with Yoshine Kyoko and Eita' Bro and after the girl who plays her daughter and Furukawa Yuki XD;
So let's hope Arimura Kasumi do a good job in Hiyokko. (At least she has a hot dad) ETA: Hiyokko looked nice. Give me anything in the 60s and I'll be there. Also the Showa ambiance looks great.
I'm quite behind in Eito shows, i think that most caught up I am is in NEWS and somehowthey have quite a lot of shows lately.
Anime? Am I watching anime? Only episodes on and off. I got Kabukibu but haven't watched yet.

+ Boku, unmei no hito desu. I don't feel like watching Code Blue but I'm camping at the KamePi dorama. No questions about it. Now how come Yamapi has shorter hair for this new drama and at 9 to 5 he didn't? >.>
Supposedly this is a love comedy, so we expect over the top acting and probably bad kissing, if Kame manages to get the girl.
+Tsubaki Bunguten ~Kamakura Daishoya Monogatari, Tabe Mikako takes over her grandma's Stationery shop, but it also provides the service of writing letters. So she'll begin her career as a clerk? IDK the name in english for that.
+Reverse sounds intriguing but I totally missed Fujiwara Tatsuya's last drama. XD;; Yet this one has Koike Teppei and Tama-chan, Ichihara Hayato and Toda Erika. The death of a friend comes back to haunt a group of collegue friends.
+ Hito wa Mita me ga 100%, with Kiritani Mirei, Mizukawa Asami and Buruzon Chiemi, about a researcher without any appeal, becoming a stylish woman.
+ Crisis Kouan Kidou Sosatai Tokusou-han. I'm here for Oguri Shun and Nishijima Hidetoshi as Special Investigation Unit Agents. XD If you saw the trailer, Oguri looked totally badass jumping from a high window. XD
+ Yes, will watch Nakamaru Yuichi as a Masseuse Detective in Massage Tantei Joe. He always get the midnight bizarro dramas.
+ Anata no koto wa sore hodo. Higashide Masahiro as a husband cheated on by Haru. At least Haru doesn't have to worry about a smaller Co-star, still i'm amazed how huge Masahiro looks next to her. :O Naka Riisa is there as well. :P
+ Sakurako-san no Sokka ni wa shitai ga Umatteiru. Mizuki Arisa becomes the japanese Bones, working for museums and research and education institutes. with Fujigaya Taisuke as the new museum employee and seems as a sidekick. Also the ending will be by Kisumai.
+ Code Name Mirage: Kiriyama Renn is back as a badass SPY, looks like full action drama and I'm curious to see if he's polished his rider moves. <3
+ Haha ni Naru. Sawajiri Erika is back as a mother who after having lost his son and years later recovered it, tries to rebuild her relationship with his son.
+ Netflix users, get ready for Samurai Gourmet, were Takenaka Naoto spends his retired time enjoying food at his leisure and suddenly his inner persona, a wanderer samurai apetite is awoken too. (Tamayama Tetsuji as his Samurai self? I'm in!)
(Also Netflix users, get ready for a Johnnys West drama on nextflix by Fall season)
+ Mi o Tsukushi Ryouricho, Kuroki Haru stars this jidageiki with Nagayama Kento and ZOMG Yanagishita Tomo! about a girl who becomes a top female cook in Edo.
+ Frankenstein no koi seems interesting just for the Cast alone: Ayano Go, Fumi Nikaido and Yagira Yuya.
+ Kubota Masataka doubles this season on WOWOW in Hotoya no toge as a prison guard and as a detective with Kitamura Kazuki (since when Kitamura Kazuki is described as "middle-aged"?) in 4-go Keibi on NHK
+ Hasegawa Hiroki is back in a police drama with Okada Masaki in Chiisana Kyojin where he was the top agent from First Division and is sudenlñy demoted to a police precint but discover his righteous colleagues tacle even small cases.
+ Koi ga heta de mo Ikitemasu- another love comedy with Takanashi Rin, Tanaka Kei, Koseki Yuta. where our female lead, a love game developer falls in love for the first time with a man who has a past he hasn't been able to overcome. (already watched on Dailymotion but meh)
+ Nakayama Yuma goes again as a troubled young man in Hokuto Ary Satsujinsha no Kaishin
+ 3-nin no Papa. Yamada Yuki play 3 man and a baby in ikemen form.
+ Mizobata Junpei continues another season as Tachibana Noboru Seishun Tekibae, a jidageiki where he plays a prison doctor .
+ Hanzai Shokogun Seasons 1&2, with Tamayama Tesuji, Tanihara Shosuke, Watabe Atsuro, Kaname Jun. A righteous detective who pursues crime after the death of his sister.
+ Kizoku Tantei. Sorry, Aiba but the promo pic looks lame.
+ No, I'm not watching Final Fantasy XIV: Hikari no Otousan. Even if it's a heartwarming story about father and child bonding over video games. >.>
+Bouncer seems an EXILE gansgta drama. With a korean character.
+ Gouriki Ayame keeps trying in Joshu Seven, after being framed on a coworker geisha murder,she lands at a female prison (will she sing the Cell Block Tango?)
+ Kodoku no Gurume keeps going and going, now on season 6.
+ Inocchi keeps having a work on the 12th season of Keishichou Sousa Ikka 9-gakkari.
+ The cult poster girl, Shimizu Fumika stars in Warau Manekineko, a drama about a female + comedy duo who isn't very popular and suddenly their fate changes.
SPs
+ Demo, Kekkon, shitai! In this SP Kuriyama Chiaki will be a BL mangaka who despite her creations, won't give up in her ideal of marriage. I'm already camping there, you know.
+Touga no Hito looks like a suspense dorama with Seto Koji and Suzuki Kyoka, where an ex detective reconnecte with the son of her deceased partner, but yeras later, she gets new info about her partner's death and suspects about the real circumstances of the cases that brought him to death.
+I would watch LEADERS II If I were to find raws for the first part. Somehow I suspect they lost in an external.
+If I'd have time. I would watch Soshite daremo, Inakunakatta, based in Agatha Christie's work, "And then there were none".
+ I hope there will be subs for Kizuna, Hashire Kiseki no kouma. I mean, it's Gakki and Okada Masaki together again.
