Picks for Autumn Drama Season 2016
So Autumn season is beginning and I haven't made my to watch-list. So here we go. You can see sumaries at jdramas.wordpress.com and OFC I'm not listing ALL the dramas airing.
I can't believe Beppin-san begins next week! :D How long it's been! I keep watching Toto-neechan and even when I was lured about her having a love interest, seems it has fallen through on the mean to make this heroine a career woman. Which is ok, but I want (lame) romance on my Asadoras too.
I'm still creeped on Nakayama Kento (Eita's bro) Being Sumire's husband in Beppin-san but hopefully, he'll die on the war. It was already creepy watching the age gap in Asa ga Kita's first weeks. XD;;
Totally watching for Yoshine Kyoko and Miho Kanno will be her mom.

- Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu. There was no Johnny left for this drama (wasn't Aiba supposed to do it? Or maybe if Yuto wouldn't had flopped with HOPE he might have gotten it) We get Hoshino Gen and I'll take it. He'll be a cold grumpy guy and he won't smile as cutely as he does but yes I do wanna watch. Ahem. based in a manga, about an university graduate with no job offers who became a housekeeper to a "professional bachelor" and decide to have a contract marriage.
- Cold Case ~ Shinjitsu no Tobira. In this adptation of the WB series (sasuga WOWOW), Yoshida Yo leads the team from the Kanagawa Prefectural Police First Investigative Division to crack unsolved cases.
- Death Note, New Generation. I'm here for Masahiro Higashide.
- Unmei ni, Nita Koi. Saito Takumi is your man for (trashy) romances. Romance between a divorced woman and an international designer. XD
- Kaisefu no Mitazono, with Matsuoka Masakiro (#Maboadorado) A superb housekeeper who not only cleans houses, but the "deep rooted dirt" in the households he works on, revealing family secrets that allow them to start anew. So far the promos show a crossdressing Mabo, so it will be epic.
- Suisho no Kodou ~ Satsujin Bunseikan. Another installment of Ishi no Mayu, has Kimura Fumino and Aoki Munetaka pairing again solving cases.
- Oguri Shun returns in Daishou, a legal suspense drama. He'll try to revenge a distant relative who caused the loss of his family and sanity.
-Jimi ni Sugoi! Kouetsu Girl Kouno Etsuko. Ishihara Satomi is back in this drama as a proofreader aspiring to become a fashion editor. IDK if feel offended about the looking down on proofreaders, but probably she'll learn her work don't suck as much. HOW COME SUDA MASAKI HAS A GOOD AGE TO BE HER LOE INTEREST?

- Career ~ Okite Yaburi no Keisatsushoschou. Tamaki Hiroshi as a compassionate, ally of justice Police Chief. With Takimoto Miori and Takashima Masahiro.
- Natsume Soseki no Tsuma. Being waiting for this Ono Machiko and Hasegawa Hiroki drama for a while! About duh, Natsume Soseki's wife.
Maybe list
- Chuushingura no Koi ~ 48-ninme no Chusshin. There must have been a special clause on Tackey's drama contract that if he gest to kiss the girl, Tsubasa has to be in a drama with her as well, cos this Jidageiki has Takei Emi and Tsubasa but seems they won't be a pair. XD
- Cain and Abel. OFC there will be a sub and I would watch for Kiritani Kenta, but I would like a drama when he's the winner character. Do you realize how old we are when Yamada is material for a Getsu9?
- Suna no Tou ~Shirisugita Rinjin. Matsushima Nanaki will be the evil neighbor that'll make Miho Kanno's family life a hell in their new apartment building. So basically Miho Kanno will get Mom roles from now onwards.
- Chef ~Mitsuboshi no Kyushoku. Amami Yuuki will be the former 3 star chef who after being fired from the famous restaurant she worked on, become a TV chef and tries to create school lunches to regain her lost stars and kiddie cred.
- Sennyu Keiji Idol Deka Dance. Nakamura Aoi infiltrates an entertainment agency as an idol trying to solve cases among the industry. It has Daito Shunsuke too! Looks facepalming but fun.
- IQ246 ~ Kareinaru Jikenbo, with Oda Yuji, Tsuchiya Tao, Dean Fujioka, Nakatani Miki and the revival of Miyao Shuntaro. Wato Soko (Tsuchiya Tao) becomes the bodyguard of Homonji Sharaku (Oda Yuji), descendant of a aristocratic family where the eldest sons have a high IQ.
- The Hippocratic Oath, with Kitagawa Keiko, a forensic mystery drama. You can say she gets diverse roles.
NOPE
- Keishichou Nasi Goreng-ka. Police drama with an AKB. >.>
- Medical Team ~Lady Da Vinci no Shidan. A team of female doctors. I'd rather watch Yoshida Yo in Cold Case.
- That vampire drama with Suzuki Ryohei. DD:
- That drama with Kuroki Meisa as a Monster wife of a man who looks like a Matchy wannabe. DD: (Haikei, Minpaku-sama, if you're interested)
- Doctor X one millionth season. >.> I don't like Yonekura Ryoko.
- Rental Kyuseishu, with Sawamura Ikki, Shida Mirai and Fujii Ryusei. About a "Rental saviour" agency that handles impossible demands for a limited time only.
As usual, there will be Aibou Season one million, as another season for Shinya Shokudo. And more Last Cop if you liked it.

Yes, I'm still angry at the Agency about the SMAPocalypse. Because again, no drama this season for SMAP members?
There won't be any group like them, despite the other groups fanclub memberships that possibly are 20-30% scalpers. Yes, I'm being petty.
I would say when a JE show gets the SMAPxSMAP relevance, we'll talk; BUT DASH has lasted longer and has all the ratings just based in their main cast, not even need for foreign guests. And I do like TOKIO. (and congrats, they're Special Ambassadors for Tokio Olympics!)
Probably as soon as Johnny-san dies, the can of worms is gonna explode. Where's the Inception fic planning to destroy the Jimusho?
And I'm content about Junno's solo release. Haters to the left.
