Hidarime tante EYE or blast (blowout?) from the past: an acquired taste

Began watching HYE's first episode, but needed to watch the SP to get it better.

I can deal with slow paced dramas, but the SP was more than slower, I was worried about how they could show Yoko's evilness in 40 minutes. Because the first 40 minutes were quite slow (what you could expect for a drama to boost a HSJ kid? And I do like Yamada!)
Once you got the SP's statement that Yoko's chatracter is gona be EVILEVILEVILEVIL, it works as the drama premise.

Also it made me remeber an old soapopera, "En Carne Propia".
A woman hires a detective to find her kidnapped daughter. It turns out that her husband, Ocatvio faked the kidnapping of the girl to be the only heir of his wife's money.
Years before, he even acted in front of the police bieng the one delivering the ransom and before the exchange, there's a shooting and Octavio loses his hand (yes, believe it or not), the kidnappers runa way but the helicopter explodes in the air.
Octavio uses a metalic hand after losinghis hand, beuing this the key point of the character, btw.
When his wife confronts him, he kills her drowning her in a fish tank. I don't know how the hand didn't got rusty because of that. XD
He inherits her money but a special clause of the testament involves donating her corneas to an orphan girl, who happens to be Stephanie going blind because of the explosion and the detective, who is the hunk of the telenovela gets ther back and then try to solve the case and bring out Octavio's evilness. XDD.
Stephanie also has those visions of her mother's memories, even the last sight of her mother, which might be helpful in the case.
This sopaopera is from 1990, btw. XDD

Ahem, going back to the drama.
For Hidarime Tantei EYE's complete season, Ainosuke (Yamada Ryosuke) will have glimpses of his brother Yumehito's (Yokoyama You from Kanjani 8) criminal plan and  will enjoy taunting his brother to see if he really can stop him, showing how badass he can be, or just stirring things up.

It makes me think on a way of the "Blowout Villain", a character for a bubble gum ad, who enjoyed popping bubbles until Futy Gum (a brand that doesn't stick in your face) spolied his plans. XD [Levi, ayúdame a traducir!!]
Anyway, I meant this figure to explain his badassness. Using another metaphor, he´s as bad as pork meat, because he's quite convinced about his wrongdoings.

Because this guy has a plan, you know, and he's pretty cynical (and others cardboardy, especially on the Evil Smirk™) about it.
As a scientist, his big plan of Doom is a big experiment of cause-effect laws and most of the time it makes sense and you go all "Oh!" "Ah!" along with it, even at the tiny hints. Or it's just me playing accomplice watcher here. ^^;;;

Will he succeed ruining Ainosuke's sense of justice? Or he just want to be stopped by him?

And some people find Yoko hot. He won many fans with The Quiz Show (that I haven't seen, btw), it must be that evilness pays off or something.
His lower tone is way better than his squeaky loud regular tone that almost make me want to watch Yukan Club, I still can't believe he was that Seishirou guy, but I can't stand the KAT-TUN content in it. ^^;;

BTW, this Big Bad Madam, makes me sense a bit of UST there. EW. >>;;

We have also interesting guest starring:
The girl from Bara no ni hanaya, she has grown a lot!

And you can be amused by Crystal Kay playing Silence of the Lambs.

There a a coupe of HSJ kids, Haruna Ai, who walks way better than me in heels and tiny robes. XD;;

If you're that bored, you can watch, it's only 8 episodes long. But I forgot to tell you that Ishihara Satomi's (Hanayome to Papa, VOICE)  character can be pretty annoying with her high tone and squealing, and it's amazing how Yamada's character can be more down to earth than hers, but of course, there's a reason to include an irresponsible woman who can't control herself at "Do not" signs as a sidekick. >>;;

je i want my brain back, jdramas, badtrips ftw, lame recs, the insanity of k8 fandom, weird references
