I've been talking over email to this guy Ryan in Glasgow. He plays rugby, and somehow (I've already forgotten) found my email. We've been chatting for a while, and I recently asked him about

I think by the end of this year (trying not to be an egoist) that I'll be good enough to join a really good team....if they need anyone, I suppose. I have my goals!

Okay, back to the clubs. My one contact (that guy named Ryan who I've never met) had this to say about the clubs:
Well, first up only, Dimonds,Truffles and Teasers are strip clubs. And there
the best,clean,high class strip clubs in Glasgow. There are others but there
Redneck. What kinda entertaiment is it u do, ie strip,poll dance,lapdance.
Because Dimonds is a lapdance club, Teasers is a lapdance/stripclub and
Truffles dose poll/lapdance and strip.

I guess I'll have a see for myself this Christmas, when I visit. Either way, I'm not entirely dead set on continuing to strip. But I'll need to make a lot of money because I'm completely on my own and I have to finance Graduate School next year.

The streetcar sounds like a cool place. I'd totally be up for doing burlesque dancing too.

Even thought its early, and I'm far away, I'm more concerned with job prospects than the social scene (i'll figure that out with time, no rush).
