thinking about december's uk trip
I've been talking over email to this guy Ryan in Glasgow. He plays rugby, and somehow (I've already forgotten) found my email. We've been chatting for a while, and I recently asked him about
a)the rugby teams I could/should join in the city, and
b)the strip club scene
First he told me that Jordanhill is THE womens rugger team to play with, and that I could get a game with them.
Then he listed off 3 strip clubs and a bunch of other ones which I'm not sure are strip joints too. I'm wondering what the scene is there? What are British strip clubs like? What kind of money do the girls make? Are the clubs nice? Do the girls do lots of pole tricks? Is it full nude? Anybody that can answer these questions will be my new best friend.
I'm thinking that if I don't like the way these places run, or I don't think the money will be THAT awesome, I might just like to get a job in a nightclub. Bartending, or something else, I don't know. He also alerted me to a couple S&M or bondage clubs, which I have to check out.
So I went ahead and told him I'm visiting and that he has to show me around and go out drinking with me and his rugger buddies. I now have someone to hang out and explore with in Glasgow.
I'm trying to convince Hils to go explore Ediburgh with me, after we leave Aberdeen.
And then after York, I have time to see people in Manchester or other areas of England (I really really want to go to London again if there are any LJ peoples who want to go with me!!!)
