I've just finished the first season of Supernatural, and am having fun typing out a crossover between it and one of my old fandoms. <3
Yeah, fandom's an interesting phenomenon that way. It creates common ground for people to have something to talk about when they approach each other, and.. I don' tknow, opens the way for further interaction, which is really the beginning of friendship.

Most women go for the double choc and cookie dough ice cream when they're depressed and upset. I go straight for the fanfiction. Specifically SPN and SG1 (both full of unexpected fluff and pick me ups). Believe me when I say you are a god send for this sort of thing!
