Totally needs the ear skritchies. ;) I've slowly been piecing together thoughts on why I love him, why some people may not, and what his fate may be.

And thanks for that rec. I was a little "Wha?!" when it looked like they just left Cas there at the end.

Me too! It just...seemed really abrupt, yes? Castiel has just been taking hit after hit this season. I'd love for him to get something back, though Dean's obvious devotion to him (in a gen way) does warm my cockles pretty fiercely.

Also, I know what you mean about trying to figure out what makes you love him. I've been doing the same thing. The hate he gets from certain corners of fandom just...makes no sense to me. I try and try and I just don't understand, perhaps because I love him SO much, I just don't understand how anyone can not see what I see. It's a big puzzle to me.

The best thing about Cas? When all that "oh what's gonna happen now" stuff started on the game show, and he strode in... Was that moment not perfect simply because it was CAS and he doesn't belong there and he was being so serious in an absurd situation? And then when he showed up bloodied, I couldn't help thinking that he had been teleported into the movie Aliens and just finished fighting his way out. And now I want to write that. *sighs*

Said all that to say, I feel you. Ohhhhh, Cas...

LOL, yes! Wasn't that perfect! :D When the door started shaking I totally thought it was the Trickster going to come and be the star of this show, too, and then it was Castiel, with his face all full of SRS BSNS, exasperated with SamnDeana for getting themselves into this crazy predicament. And when he got zapped away, that was pretty shocking.

OMG, poor guy. He just keeps getting beat on. By his brother, no less!
