ive realized that when someone passes away there are many things, tangible and intangible that they leave behind. phyically present things, like clothing, letters, home videos, even the smell of their room or their childhood blanket. and the intangible. memories. those i think are more permenant than the things that can be held in your hand. the recreation of emotions each time your mind wanders to those past times. the feeling of nostalgia. the beauty and happiness that radiates from within when you share a story about that person.
sometimes the things left behind are simply inexplicable. like the way one person can leave their dimples for someone else to wear.
