....when there is so much awesome stuff out there to read?
First off, go read and vote at this weeks R/Hr Last Drabble Writer Standing. We are down to the final 4, and this week was a very challenging prompt. I'm proud of my own entry, but stand in awe of the AWESOME that is the other 3. You can't lose with this bunch.

Lastly...are you reading "Mark Reads Harry Potter?" If not, why not? YOU ARE MAD. Mark worked his way through the Twilight series before, and his outraged snark was hilarious...but, as a man with taste, he is delighted with Harry's tale. It is amazing to see the book picked through by fresh eyes. I don't know how he managed, but Mark knew very little about HP before, and it is such a wonderful thing to experience the book for the first time through him. The snark from his Twilight reading is still there, but Mark's inner kid is having a lot of fun now! To wit:
Bless J.K. Rowling for this. Do you know exciting it is to me that she creates complicated plot situations? Look, again, I said I wasn't going to do this, but I just came from a series in which there wasn't a plot conflict for hundreds of fucking pages. And to have a multi-faceted, serial plot that is entirely hinged on character development present?
oh god I AM IN LOVE.
But you know what's even better? My boyfriend Hagrid has a dragon egg!
