A life back to work life...
It has been a long time since I actually posted anything here. The reasons have been multi-fold. The last time I posted it was in feb and now it is july. A period of close to five months. Post feb, I was busy one month with my exams and then Apr, it was back to joining at work (with 3 months of training).
But as it is typical of an Indian IT industry, no laptop allowed. It is only today that I got it back.
After three months of (official) training, and over month of training, they still cannot provide one god-damm system. Then they call themselves India's leading IT services company. What is a person supposed to do? Everything is online. For a workaholic person like me, being on bench is like ultimate blasphemy
And how long can someone sit on someone else's system. After all it is assigned to them not to you. It is only with their courtesy that I was able to check the mail at-least a few times a day...
It is under this situation, it is next to an achievement that I was able to complete the certification. Consider the factors not in my favor (which are in favor of others):
a) Unlike others, I dont have a dedicated system to study from. Had to study from an group of adhoc systems; if they are free
b) The last question bank available was 6 months old (outdated). The latest one is not available. So no one was actually sure what actually is going to come. (Now they all know)
c) Everyone is scared of going first. There is no point of reference. Nut now they have.
I know that this will probably never gets recognized. But let this just be a reminder that is the first way in many ways in one of the many ways in which an adversity can be turned into an advantage. There will be more to come. So watch out.
