Life goes on..
Dear August,
You have been good to me so far.
And I thank you for that.
I'm already receiving surprises.
Good ones, at that.
I'm feeling much better.
My tonsil is healing..
well, as nice as it could be after being sliced open.
I have a follow up appointment on the 16th.
I do think about my aunt everyday.
And about my uncle and my cousin's and their beautiful families.
I'd pray if I did that kind of thing.
But they have enough faith and love in their homes and hearts..
I think they'll do just fine.

Well, tomorrow is Lisa's birthday show at the Blue Note. I'll be there assuming I can get in with my temporary paper license. And if I feel up to inhaling a bunch of smoke all night long. That doesn't sound so appealing. But Lisa's birthday celebration sounds awesome.
I'm supposed to be meeting a boy tomorrow night, as well. He seems like a nice guy. So I'll give it a shot.
And then there's that other one.. :)
Who kinda makes me smile.
Which kinda makes me worry.
He's leaving for bootcamp on the 25th.
And I'm not sure what to do..
I'm wondering where he gets the nerve to pursue me when he's leaving me in less than a month.
One day at a time.
