I am moving back to California. Hopefully this summer. I am done with New York.

I know that you guys were talking about moving for grad school, but I didn't know it had something to do with being "done" with New York. 'Splain?

Whatevs, I'm going to call you now.

For me it has a lot to do with the fact that I grew up here. Right now I live in the smae town as my folks and childhood. I makes me feel stuck in the same scene and the same places I have always been in.

When I lived in CA I fell in love with the desert more than I thought I ever would. I also love the ocean. Plus the warm weather creates a lifestyle and atmosphere that I really enjoy .

There is also a certain something about the culture in so. cal. that I miss. Not sure what b/c there are a lot of assholes there too. I just think I gennerally found it better.

I don't think you've yet explained your fascination with guns, and your seeming need to own enough to necessitate a gun rack? :-)

My fascination has profoundly phallic overtones. I'm okay with that. Mostly I like things that go boom, but I also value being able to protect myself from others.

Interesting, Mr. Maxwell. Come to think of it, I just might know a few people needing some killing. You never know, I might call on your services one day. lol
