An Invitation

So, my good friend Ben Durgin came back to town yesterday, and that's been cool. Not seeing the guy much at all, due to his living in Georgia, makes his rare visits sweet. And despite the unwelcome snow that seemed to come with him, he also came with a strange, and, quite intriguing offer.

He apparently has found a perfect place to open a CD store, location wise. I wont go into details but, just to say, it would be a great area. We had talked a long time ago, really just in passing, about the possibility of opening a record store, since we are both such music junkies. Now, the possible opportunity is there. We dont know any logistics yet, how much/ what it would take to try and do such a thing, but the idea is still so very...intriguing. I found myself in a huge quandry. If we jump at the idea and open the store, it would mean moving away from maine to Georgia, essentially leaving college entirely until who knows when, and instead owning a record store. It sounds like Rob from High Fidelity, I know. But for all its probable, practical impossibility, I am extremely drawn to the idea.
