We had a break for half-term last week but my Life Drawing classes resumed again last night and we had Ken back modelling for us.
This week we had a single long pose to work on across the 2 hours or so which was pretty good for me as I reckon I'm a bit of a slowcoach. I notice about half way through the allotted time that I'm still huffing and puffing about getting the outlines and structure right when everyone else around me has nearly complete drawings it seems.
Thankfully I manage to get tones down pretty quickly so I seem to recoup the time. A late finisher if you will. Could still have done with another half hour to get some details on Ken's hands, feet and skull (yes, that's a skull he's clutching!), pick out a bit more detail and even out the tonal values a bit.
Anyway, here's what I ended up with:

Think I'm happy with it and the teacher seemed to approve.
Next week I think we start a 2-week drawing which should be interesting.
