Blame it on the Glee

So I spent a good chunk of my time this afternoon finding nice Acapella videos on Youtube. Here are the results.

It all started with me trying my luck to find songs from next week's Glee episode (the so-called Britney episode). The preview of their rendition of Toxic has already surfaced online and it's pretty rad, so I wanted to find other Acapella groups and 'real' Glee Clubs performing the same song.

This one's performed by a group in Berkeley and it's not bad. I find the part where they go 'badger badger badger' pretty cute! Their lead singer's vocals aren't that impressive though...

This other one is pretty good, though the tempo's really fast. The lead singer's much better, she can really hold her keys (+ sexy voice)!

From there I got distracted and moved on to other Acapella renditions of famous songs.

Like Owl City's Fireflies. There were two versions available but I liked this one better because it was more mellow.

This next one isn't Acapella and is just here for my own future reference. Alto saxophone rendition of Fireflies.

David Choi's rendition of BEP's I Gotta Feelin'. Very awesome.

Lady Gaga Medley in Acapella. Really well-done!

To cap it all off, have an Acapella version of 'original work from Japan' LOL. Somebody should do this for Comic Fiesta!

(I particularly liked the accompanying actions they did when they sang.)

Okay done. I hoped you like them as much as I did!

OMAKE: Because I know there are a few Muse fans on my flist. Here be Acapella Knights of Cydonia LOL
