Phone Update #2
FUCKING SUCK MY COCK VERIZON, YOU PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT!
So to recap: Verizon are bastards and disabled the ability to transfer ringtones (and pictures and some other stuff) from your computer to your phone because they want you to pay for everything.
I've now found a step-by-step guide for hacking my phone. (Tt was difficult since I had to find one that was specific for my model. The idea still freaks me out because they've made it very clear that messing with your phone in this way a) voids your warranty and b) has the potential to completely disable your phone. Forever.)
But, oh wait! One of the pieces of software I need to use requires that you be running Windows XP with service pack 2. But I can't fucking GET service pack 2 because it has Windows Genuine Advantage, which allows you to install the update only if you're running a legit copy of Windows. And I, of course, am using a bootleg copy. But I do have access to a workable copy of Windows, but that means I have to reinstall...which I was going to do soonish anyway, but STILL.
AND I got my first bill, which was fucking $120-something because they are RETARDED and charge two months on the first bill (I guess they charge for the month ahead or something), plus it includes the activation fee and all the miscellaneous taxes and things.
I swear to God I am going to murder something, and, as Jennifer suggested, it may well be one of the chickens that live across the street (although I honestly have nothing against them).
