My obsessive insanity
For the last several years, I have had a fragment of a song rolling around in my head.
I could just barely hear the lyrics, to the point that they were audible but indecipherable.
I didn't know the band, and I didn't know the name of the song. It has haunted me off and on for YEARS. Friday night, I was fucking around on the 94.5 the Buzz web-site and noticed Video's on Demand. Then I thought about that song.... and I figured, maybe if I listened to enough songs, I could at least figure out who the band SOUNDED like, and go searching for the song that way.
So, I listen to a song by Orgy, and think... shit... that sounds ALOT like that song in my head. Being the determined bastard that I am, I search the net for all the Orgy lyrics I can find, and start going song by song trying to find a chorus that sounds like what's in my head.
Well, I finally found it, ya fuckers !!!!!!!! I've been playing it over and over again. I've probably listened to it a go 60 times at least since finding it Friday night.
My insanity has once again consumed a large portion of my last two nights.
Oh yeah, and kudos to www.youtube.com for having the live video performance of the song.
