Folk Project Festival
Paul and I went to the spring Folk Project Festival for the day. It was at Fairview Lake Camp in Sussex county, NJ, a lovely, wild place that most people would be surprised to find in NJ. The Appalachian Trail goes nearby.
I called a short session of contra dances with a band called Sonas. They'd never played for a contra dance before, but what music!! Had a great time. Enjoyable concerts and dancing, and good birding too. We saw orioles and several warblers, including a Blackburnian.
