I'm sorry to read of the rumor that the San Diego ComicCon may be relocated to another city or state due to a lack of proper accommodations. Granted that the newest addition to the San Diego Convention Center is nice, and it has everything under one roof rather than scattered among several building. But it really isn't able to handle three concurrent large group presentations at once. The lines for panels was out of control.
But I would rather suffer this than having to travel to San Francisco or Las Vegas with their higher hotel costs, as well as any increase in the price of attending the con that would occur.
In plain and simple English, if ComicCon leaves San Diego, I will not follow. Nor will many thousands of the local fans who helped build the success of the volunteer based convention. Shame on the ComicCon board of directors for even allowing such an idea to go public.
