It looks like yet another meter (RPS) will be used in Lumindor. Everything I’ve seen about this meter so far is appalling, and if it’s adopted I think I’m going to have to give up on Lumindor.

I've been dissatisfied with RP in Lumindor lately.  My unkind way of putting it is that their idea of a good time is to have a party where they stay in character about 50% of the time.  We've had about half a dozen attempts at dramatic RP-- rescuing a noble, safeguarding a refugee whose pals then attack, even a war-- and they all seem to fizzle out ( Read more... )

I've been spending a lot of time doing medieval RP in Lumindor, a sim in Second Life.  And it's been extremely up-and-down, except for the time I've spent with our own faction, the Dark Knights.  I've had trouble figuring out what exactly is not clicking.

I decided to borrrow an idea from Oblivion, and create some readable books for our keep in Lumindor, a medieval RP region within Second Life.  I play a dunmer-- also borrowed from Oblivion, that's their version of dark elves.
