Motherland!
Am writing from a Biznes Tsentr (Business Center) computer that I'm renting for 500 rubles / hour, at our hotel in Prospekt Mira.
The trip has been wondeful - I've been keeping a journal of interesting things I've encountered so I don't forget them. Moscow is very different than it was the last time we were here (around the crash of the ruble in late '97 / early '98) - cleaner, more prosperous, moving into the 21st (or 20th :) ) century.
Tomorrow (it's the 6th here) we leave for St. Petersburg, and I should be back in Boston late the night of the 12th.
