Ok here is what is wrong with the United States of America plain and simple. The first problem is the people in the country. I recently read something that said a consumer group wanted to put similar labels to that which are on cigarettes on soda. First of all have we learnt nothing from cigarettes? This is in part true however the fact of the matter is that people vote on candidates dependent upon their poitical party. eighty percent of the votes are predetermined before the candidates are even announced and as such those people are denying themselves of the ability to pick the best candidate by not being open-minded to all of the candidates

unfortunatley it has been shown in multiple polls that unfortunatley the number is actually in the vincintiy of 80% and as a matter of fact the greatest number of people who stick to their party allegiance are 50+. also the saddest part is that of that eighty percent that stick to their party it is essentially split between republicans and democrats. This leads to the remaining twenty percent being the only people who really have any say in how the election turns out because the other eighty percent of registered voters are to ingnorant to look past party lines and into the actual policies of the candidates who are running for office
