computer help... anyone?
So this sounds like a really dumb problem but I can't get the sound on my computer to work.
Everything was working normally until Michael reformatted my computer recently (at my request). Since then, my speakers aren't being "recognized." My speakers are plugged just as they were before, but the problem seems to lie deeper than that. When I try to open up Volume Control, I just get a message that says "There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel..." etc. Is this a problem with my sound card? If so, how do I fix it?
