I got my new male Betta, he's a bright crimson red boy with some teal scales in his body and some on his fins. He's beautiful and feisty, except for one problem...he can't stay at the bottom or middle of the tank, he keeps floating towards the top and he floats from his back, not the side, making me think it's not his swim bladder. He was also not a cheap fish, so I kinda don't want anything to happen to him after a few days. I picked him because of his bright colours and attitude, he seemed like he'd be a good and fun fish as well as a great one for breeding.

From all the websites I've looked at, they tell me to not feed the fish for 2-3 days...except I feel guilty doing that. Jeremy's doing well, I bought him some freeze-dried blood worms, which he seems to be enjoying, he attacks them with such energy and swims around sometimes with some worm in his mouth as if showing off. He's kinda funny.
