... and now she's totally spoiled.
I needed a baby-food jar for a new project. I thought I'd saved a few from back when Mallery was sick, but evidently I threw them out. So, I went and bought another jar.
Of course, since they don't come empty from the store, there was now the question of what to do with the baby food inside of it. I didn't want to throw it away... what a waste, even if it is just a few ounces of pureed-turkey-and-water. Well, sez I, I have another cat... even though she's not sick, I bet she'd like it!
Oh boy, did she like it. You'd think I'd been starving her for weeks, the way she dove into that pile of mush. oooo YUMMY! She didn't even bother to breathe, from what I could see.... (Although, since I didn't come home to an asphyxiated little kitty-corpse, I'm assuming she did, eventually, pause her inhalation of liquified turkey to inhale some air.)
Of course, she now expects every meal to consist of baby food. She didn't even touch her kibble. She sat there, all night, crying over her food dish, her full food dish mind you, begging me to feed her.
Sorry, kitty. It was a one-shot deal.
