Green Lantern: The Animated Series "Fight Club" - I was annoyed at the Thanagarian too, but I liked how it was a battle of him and Hal to see who could one-up the other, and anything that brings in more familiar DC alien races is fine with me ( ... )

If they do a fake-out with Kal-dur I'll be very angry. Because if he IS faking and working for good secretly, considering some of the things he said and did when he was completely alone, it would be a total cheat. Weisman isn't above that (to be honest I thought the series finale of Spectacular Spider-Man cheated a bit too) but he's USUALLY better than that ( ... )

Did we know for sure Kaldur's completely alone? Well, maybe he is bad and will turn good again.

Ultimate Spider-Man: I'm more talking about the police than Spider-Man, who were closing off the area, shouldn't their first priority be to keep civilians safe?

The Simpsons: I'd be just as angry as you, but Skinner and Edna were done years before Nedna happened, so it doesn't bother me.

Family Guy: Good point, and new Brian is also clearly a windbag who pretends to be an intellectual but is actually fairly dumb. Old Brian seemed smart.

30 Rock: Ah, yeah, I can see credit where credit is due, but I'm continually disappointed in Jack for thinking Avery was equal to Nancy, who actually humanized him. Avery is just making him worse.

Parks and Recreation: That's true, Andy was so serious about his bodyguard duties. He just needs to be a tad brighter to be a good Pawnee cop.

Young Justice: I will never forgive Kal-Dur even if the writers try to redeem him. At least Hawkgirl was trying to keep everyone alive and thought she was doing the right thing and Willow went crazy. There is no excuse for his cold calculating evil. If Weisman EVER plans to redeem him I will never buy it ( ... )

Young Justice: I'll have to watch the episode again, but I've seen people pointing out that Kaldur may not have planted the bombs himself and tried to abort the mission when he realized that happened.

Ultimate: Yeah, but how dumb do you have to be to tell someone to shut off their camera and not notice when they turn it back on half a second later and are still standing right there?

The Simpsons: That episode made me mad too.

Family Guy: Yeah, Old Brian definitely was smart.

30 Rock: What I liked about early Jack was that despite being a cold, calculating businessman, he knew how to read people and was right about many things, and his advice to Liz ended up helping her. These days, he's become narrow-minded and fairly stupid.

Parks and Recreation: Guess we'll see next season.

Young Justice: He said some very dark things when he was alone leading us to believe he HAD really become evil. If Weisman tries to walk that back I'll consider it a cheat no matter what.

Ultimate Spider-Man: Cartoon dumb? C'mon man, had she not completely gotten one over on them there would be no episode. Suspend your disbelief. You kind of have to for cartoon "real time" scenarios. I'm justing pointing out that this was the best it's ever been done.

30 Rock: I wouldn't mind him being portrayed as stupid as he has been if he also hadn't been portrayed as right as nearly as often as he was in the early episodes. The last half of this season was actually quite a departure of portraying Jack right about everything and instead making him seem pathetic, and frankly it was refreshing.

Young Justice: Was he ever completely alone? Maybe he was playing for some sort of camera we don't know about.

Ultimate Spider-Man: I actually really liked this episode and thought the video camera worked well EXCEPT that one part, so that's why I'm nitpicking so hard. My overall complaints about this show were absent in this episode.

30 Rock: I don't know, first Kenneth loses his appeal, and now Jack. It's a lot different from the early days of the show when I felt like everything came together.

Also, was Chalmer's line "Some rivalry, it's like Secretariat versus a can of dog food"?

Young Justice: I thought about what could possibly be the cheapest, most dishonest way for the writers to get him out of that and cameras that we had never heard of before was the easiest answer (and biggest cop-out). Aside from it never having been set up it strains credibility that Aqualad is that good of an actor. The dude was always so freaking earnest and if he has changed, then he's REALLY changed. I'm not saying he can't ever do undercover. I'm saying he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would ever be comfortable playing to a camera. No, I think Aqualad actually IS evil. And I will never forgive him if they try to redeem him and I'll think it's the worst and cheapest plot twist ever if it turns out he's secretly good ( ... )

Young Justice: You're right, it's possible Aqualad may actually be a bad guy, or at the very least, angry enough to work for the Light. To me, though, he's not irredeemable until he's purposely killing people, and he hasn't done that yet. He may end up rebelling against Manta when he goes too far.

30 Rock: I thought Jack was funny. Now? Not so much. Wow, you're right...Creed is TOTALLY the anti-Kenneth!

Young Justice: It's possible he already has. And I'll believe he knew about the bombing in the episode until proven otherwise.

30: Creed reminds me strongly of Bill Murray's movie roles. Murray almost always takes small roles in great movies where you wish you would see more of him but you never do. And he doesn't do a TON of movies even though he is a big name. That way you never get sick of Bill Murray. Creed is the same way.

Young Justice: And I'll believe he didn't know until proven otherwise. Should be fun to see how it develops.

30: I suppose that's a valid comparison, but there are plenty of movies with Bill Murray as the clear lead. But you're right, you never get sick of Bill Murray.

Young Justice: We'll just have to agree to disagree on that point. :)

30 Rock: Not so many anymore. In the 80's he was a superstar but now he chooses his roles much more carefully. About the only bad acting decision he's made were the Garfield movies and those still made a ton of money.

True, but I still get a kick out of the fact that Murray voiced Garfield, who was voiced by Lorenzo Music, who voiced Peter Venkman.

I know. That was the best thing about the casting. Genius if it was planned that way because Murray sounds like Music and vice-versa, happy accident if it wasn't.
