GL: Yeah, I felt the saving grace was it showed how clever Hal was against a con man. The con man was Byth Rok, a Hawkman villain from the Silver Age comics.

YJ: The Kaldur reveal was a jawdropper. They have to reveal this failed mission in a flashback in a future episode, it's the only way it'll work. I'm afraid to consider what's happened to Kid Flash and Artemis.

TT: Yes, it was hilarious when I realized it was sequel of sorts to "Betrothed." Now, I'm thinking they might finally get to use Wonder Girl or reveal Red X's blasted secret identity.

YJ: Even if they show the mission it will still never work. The damage to the character has already been done. No clue on Artemis but I'm betting Kid Flash became the Flash after Barry Allen died. We'll find out soon enough.

TT: If the shorts actually reveal who Red X is I'll take back every bad thing I ever said about Teen Titans.

YJ: Ehhh, I liked they gave Kid Flash the normal life compared to everyone else - a stable family household and what not. I'm hoping he and Artemis retired their roles to focus on college but the ongoing season arc forces them back into action. But I don't doubt them killing Flash. They killed Kent Nelson in his first appearance, well sorta... you know what I mean.

TT: Me, too, Matt. Me, too.

YJ: You're probably right. I don't think DC is as anxious to kill off Barry Allen again since they not only rebooted the universe and brought him back but actually made him return from the dead before the reboot.

TT: Any theories on who Red X could be?

TT: For awhile, I thought he was Jason Todd. But since they poked fun at that as one of Beast Boy's theories, idk. I had this crazy theory once they used one of Dick's aliases from the Silver Age comics and made it a new character but then that would be too polarizing a choice since the younger ones wouldn't get the I.D.

Then I concluded it would be rather juicy if he was Slade's other son Grant Wilson (the first Ravager in the comics) considering how entwined Robin and Slade were on the show. Plus in the comics, Grant was basically a merc like Red X and if I recall, was affected by his father's distance from him. They could have brought this to the forefront if there was one more season with Slade still having been around after the conclusion of the Brain's scheme.

Excellent choices. Personally, I think it should be Jason Todd.

I think they're kind of in a tough situation with Wally. They kind of need Barry to be dead and him to be the Flash because he's in his early 20's, and he shouldn't be Kid Flash (or "Wally Quick" or "Wall Mercury" or anything ridiculous). The "Flash to my Flash" thing the pre-Flashpoint comics did would probably be too confusing if they tried to pull it off.
