at the library...
i am at the library once again. i just checked out three books:
j.r.r. tolkien and his literary resonances; views of middle earth edited by george clark and daniel timmons
the essential c.s. lewis from which i will read perelandra and the abolition of man
narrative poems by lewis
i decided i ought to find some reading before the fantasy literature class claimed it all. i am so comfortable here. it is my element i guess. here and the prayer chapel are the only two places on campus i really feel comfortable. i just want to be an encouragement to the people around me in any way i can. it's hard to be that when you are as selfish as i am, and surprisingly shy here at biola. Jesus is good to me, so very good. as long as i am thinking about Him, things seem to work out much better with being comfortable and making friends. i am extremely busy, but i know the importance of making time to not be busy. i have these three books, and i intend to make plenty of leisure time with them, my Bible, and my thoughts and prayers here at biola. if anyone needs and prayer or anything, please let me know.
