So, we had a lil fun here and there...
This is about my trip up to Arcata. (SOOOOO late...)
So, I went to Arcata last weekend to visit Kieth
and Michelle.
I drove up there friday night with Hannah. (Who doesn't really liked to be photographed.)
We had a nice long talk about this and that. Hannah and I have known eachother since HS, and yet we haven't really talked much. We just kind of hang in the same circles and just say hi and what not. Now we know a bit more about eachother, though I doubt she thinks any higher of me after the trip. But we had fun. She drove, I drove, we both drove. We had fun. I played that Brian Regan cd for her, she laughed. Then we listened to Robin Williams, and she laughed a little. I had to cut it short, cuz it's kind of a long one and if you're not used to crude humor it's not as funny. But, still, we both had fun and we're both still alive.
We got to Michelle's late at night, around 2:30 in the morning. Keith says I should've called him, but I doubt Hannah would've been keen on me takin' her car to Keith's place late at night. But it was good, we chatted it up with Michelle for a bit, but I passed out and some how crawled over to my bed. Woke up around noon, Hannah and Michelle had been up since 10, and we had breakfast. Michelle made it, and it was taste-y. French toast, eggs, and bacon. Yum. It was pretty nice of her to make us breakfast that day. But, she felt she had to entertain us and I didn't mind the good food. I went over to Keith's place around 2 and we had fun talkin' it up for a while. Then we drove over to his school and killed some time there. He showed me the campus, and it's a pretty nice place. But Arcata is pretty damn far away from a lot of things. So pluses and minuses all around. The weird part about it all was the fact that some kid recognized my shirt. Not quite sure what he said at first, something along the lines of "hat burp!" or something. Then I was like, "OH, nice shirt!" Hah. Still, sounded like a number of other things, like "chemotherapy works!" or "DIE MOTHER FUCKER!" Ok, so that last one, maybe not. But still, it really came out quick. Moving on...
Oh, another cool part about us going out of the house for a bit was the fact that Keith'sroomatewhosenameIhavealreadyforgottenbecauseI'mstupidlikethat lent us the use of her car and I got to drive it cuz it was a stick shift. Yeah, that was fun. Stick shifts ROCK! After the college tour, we went to the beach, which supposedly was too cold for us to go swimming in. That I could buy, but if somebody told me that the the Ocean/River that Flows into the Ocean would create a crazy looking body of water, something out of a page of the bad bible. Seriously, freaky. But, cool all at the same time.
We went back to Keith's place, watched Stir of Echos. That movie is pretty freakin' cool. It's funny how Kevin Bacon sometimes does good shit. But hey, can't win 'em all. Then we played some video games. First Kingdom Hearts, which is a disney/Final Fantasy game. Keith likes it a lot, but for me it's too tame. But, it was still cool with the flying around and Nightmare Before Christmas world. Then we went old school and played MARIO! WAHOO!!! And even though we played it on his Super Nintendo, it was still freakin' cool. It's funny, that's the only Mario I've ever really liked, besides Mario Cart on N64. Though, if we get a Super Nintendo, I'll probably get into Mario 2 and 3 as well. So yeah, we played that game for a while. Turns out, I suck a LOT at that game. HAHA. But we took a brief moment to light the fire.

Turns out, neither of us know how to start a BBQ. I just poured the charcoal in there and he poured on the lighter fluid. Neither of us really knew what we were doing. Though, we had fun. We ate some decent burgers and hot dogs, watched way too many episodes of NEXT, had a few beers and/or Mike's Hard Lemonade (at least, I believe that's what you had...) and went back to playing MARIO!!! Once we were all done with din din and video games, Keith, HisroomatewhosenameIhavealreadyforgottenbecauseI'mstupidlikethat, and I went to go see Serenity. My critique of that movie will come later, but if you're not going to read that at least let me say that it was kick ass and you should go see it multiple times in the theatre as well as go rent the TV show the movie spawned from, Firefly. Serioiusly, go see Serenity, rent Firerly. AND LOVE IT!!!
We got back from the movie and did some heavy drinking. I need to come up with better questions/dares/I HAVE NEVER thingies. Why? Cuz I just DO! Went to sleep at around five in the morning, woke up at eleven. Michelle, Hannah, and Michelle's dad Charles picked me up at Keith's place. Said goodbye to Keith there, went back to Michelle's place, picked up Hannah's car, said goodbye to the peeps there and drove home. That weekend was a lot of fun, and it's a bummer I never went up to visit Keith before. Or Michelle. Now it should be a yearly thing or something... But, we shall see.
Yeah, that weekend was fun. Plus the day I came back, Sunday, was pretty kick ass too cuz i got to go see a kick ass show by Two Gallants. They were great. Seriously, amazing. I would love to go see them again and again. AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!
