Given that my brother and friend have gone to Town (St.Johns, the capital city of Newfoundland-referred to in common language as Town) for a few days I have the computer to myself and am therefore free to update. Of course this brings up the problem of what to update you on.
Sadly my life continues in the same vein that it has since summer began. Wake up, work, come home, watch TV, sleep, repeat. Of course there have been breaks in the routine; going to Town for a day trip and buying some items for school, going to a movie, etc. These breaks have been few and far between, however, and therefore I have little to say.
Leon, my brother, has just a little over a month left before he goes back to Qatar, he works over there, and I have just a little longer then that before I have to go back to Uni.
I'm of mixed feelings regarding my return to studies.
I mean, it's going to be great to get back on my own and begin learning things again, but I can't handle test situations. I can know the things out of the exam, but upon entering it seems to be gibberish. *shrugs* I'm doing well enough that there's no problem with me continuing my degree, and thus the path that I've chosen for my future, but I still don't like formal testing.
It's also going to be nice seeing the handful of people I made friends with over the last term. A few of them might be doing one of two of the same courses as me, and so it shouldn't be that hard to track them down. One of the major problems is that people tend to move over the summer, to a new apartment or to another place on campus. Although, I am going to be in the same place, so I suppose they can find me a lot easier then I can find them. Waiting also had the added bonus of me not expending more energy then absolutely necessary.
On a completely unrelated topic we had lightning yesterday. It was dry too, no rain, so I was able to enjoy it a lot more. Not to say that I don't like the rain, but it's..different (seems to be the best word) walking around in a lightning storm when there's no rain. Now it's bright, sunny and hot. It's going to be much nicer when the sun goes down, but for now the I'm trying to ignore the heat. Nice muggy, damp heat too. *blah's*
I think that about covers everything that I had to say, and a few things that I had no intention of getting into. Which is fine, since it took up the last few minutes I had. Now it's time to try and make a little money to pay for my habits when I get back into MUN.
