Things you never noticed before
Standing in the inordinately long holiday weekend line at the supermarket tonight, I glanced up at the "Express Lane" sign, and felt a little surge of pride:

Not only that, but the centering was off, which means it used to say "less", but they changed it.
You don't get that at Countdown.
Actually, what you do get is a sign that says, verbatim:
Vehicles may be collected from (towing company)
There's no way of knowing how many people approved this (large, green, all-weather vinyl-print) sign without ever clicking to the fact that "(towing company)" was intended as a placeholder, and should probably be replaced with something that was actually helpful.
I am bored, and everyone's busy or out of town. Boo.
