Deserters won't be shot in the face

It occurs to me that, were I not so profoundly lazy, I could set up some sort of friends filter, so that people could opt out of receiving my sporadic random ideas, and skip straight to the witty, erudite, insightful posts that have garnered such an earnest e-following.

It also occurs to me that, if such were implemented, I would most likely disappear from most people's friends lists entirely, and so the net effect would be the same as if I didn't bother, except that not bothering means less work for me.

Also, I would probably be deeply hurt that people chose a selective filter. I keep careful tabs on who friends and unfriends me, and just after you leave, I make cutting remarks in a friends-only post, to serve as a warning for other potential deserters. So it's best if you just stay on the list and tacitly ignore my fevered etchings, rather than incur my passive-aggressive, sociopathic wrath.

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that Christopher Lee isn't really that good an actor. He's just Saruman, the whole time.
