none

Sometimes we post a note in a public hallway intending only for one person to see it. Other times we keep something to ourselves that, unknown to us, everyone else can plainly see. Our intentions to not always mirror or sometimes even pertain to reality. We choose causes in our search for meaning, but they always have to be our causes. We consume them. We are independently incapable of giving all heart and action towards meaning lest meaning grant us happiness or peace, something. We cannot just give. We take great offense to being ignored and very often the biggest influence upon whether or not we like someone is whether we believe they like us. If they do like us, well, we forgive many of their imperfections, but if we believe they hate us, they can be Mother Theresa and we'll find ways to imply their intentions are impure or their actions are wrong. We are odd things. It is for this reason that it is a blessing when the bible says that God states "My ways are not your ways".

"Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything"
Neurosis, ambition, the need for the approval of men. We are, perhaps, too content to pursue external freedom from government and others, while remaining idle in the pursuit of freedom from ourselves.
