Love and War

I heard Love and War by Drowning Pool for the first time a couple of days ago and it really reminds me of what my life has been like for the past year. My schedule has changed once again, now I am working from 1 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon, worked 13 hours the past 3 days to get onto this schedule and it sucked, to top it off there was a riot today in one of the compounds and 4 soldiers got hit with rocks, 1 going to the hospital and again the Command tied our hands and prevented the final step being taken and protecting our own. I'm sick of this, let us do our job and quit worrying about your next fucking rank or what the media will say. I want everyone of my guys to go home safe and I hate to say this but I would gladly give my life to ensure that everyone of the soldiers I am responsible for made it home safe. I know other's wouldn't make the same sacrifice but my troops come first.
