Do you guys remember Abel?

On my last day at the orphanage in Dominican Republic, it was his too. Really sad that even if I return, I'd never get to see him again. But now I get amazing news by email from one of the older children. They've traced some of his family (!!) and he's now living with a family!
How amazing is that? I know I wanted to keep him and mother him forever, but it's the world's best feeling knowing that he can have a "normal" life from now on. I'm just so pleased for him. It's just really great news.
I'm asking the orphanage for his address now so I can write him a letter and say hello, and generally keep in contact with him. I'd absolutely love to be able to go back and visit him. I want to know [b]everything[/b] about his new life, his home, his family.
And another one of my favourites is living with her family too. How amazing is today? Fuck the World Cup - Abel has a home! I am really grateful for Jose Luis emailling back and filling me on all the information. Hope to keep in contact with him too since he was really friendly and cheerful.
I'm in a good mood today, except minor issues with Portuguese people.
