I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last updated here, I have been meaning to do so, but this past few weeks have just flown by!!

Well, had a phone call this morning from abatec - the company Bob down my street works for - saying that someone has pulled out of the council job, and would I be available to work for the rest of the 10 weeks, starting tomorrow. Did end up going out last Saturday, which was another average night out I guess. Was just Neil and I really, although caught up with Dave for a bit but he went home again fairly early on while we stayed on out. Friday night, perhaps didn't really want to go out as such, but did anyway, and it was a pretty nightmarish night. Neil and I went out last night down the Summerhouse pub for a few drinks together, we'd not actually seen each other since March, so it was good to catch up. He seems so much happier now than he was then too, so I was really glad about that, was actually quite worried about him when his relationship broke up. Think last night was a pretty good night, although I don't remember a great deal of it! Had a few drinks of gin before going - and realised how disgusting gin and tonic actually tastes. Well, the gin's ok, but it seems that I can't stand the tonic water!
