Damn man, that's dangerous!! Glad to hear it wasn't that bad though. Like, better blister than a more serious burn.

What brand was it?

Also, don't count Popeye's out. Was your location run by Chinese people? lolol.

lolllll XD yoooo just 'cause we have public shootings at our malls with poor security doesn't mean we carry the same lax attitude when it comes to our food haha (in most cases anyway :P)

but yeaaaa~ we have a 'national' brand under panasonic... maybe it's gettin' old i dunno ~_~
either way, i'll try popeye's again some other day when i'm feeling more confident hehe

Well, National is a decent brand. Just watch the country of manufacturing, hahaha. It was probably just old. lol.

Yaaa, maybe try it somewhere else. If you come to my Toronto hood, you'll get some great fried chicken. Black people don't joke around when it comes to their chicken, lolol.

Glad that you're (mostly) alright.

I once started a small fire by accident, since I didn't realize the blender was plugged in (via someone else) when I put on a burner. eek!

Popeyes is better than KFC though super saturated with oil! I thought I was going to have a heart attack after the first time I ate it.

My ex-housemate Kathy used to swear by that stuff, I hadn't actually eaten it until coming to Korea. I find it funny that I hadn't eaten that particular *western food* till coming to Korea.

haha I agreeeee~ popeye's chicken is really really greasy T_T lol but maybe the koreans over do it with the oil like they do with the sugar in sweets for all western foods you had there? XD
you should try popeye's again when you come back to canada so you can compare! ^_^

You the the economy is bad when people are throwing themselves in front of cars.

Did you put something on the wounds?
If you havent, you should. :(

yea i was pretty relieved nothing caught on fire around it ~_~
and it's just a little blister, so it'll heal soon enough hehe :D

but yea... it really is kinda sad when people are desperate enough to get hit by cars just so they can get some money T_T but a bit amusing too though as some of them are smart enough to gauge the cars that are going at the right speed they want so they won't get hit by drivers who are really flooring it XD
