Here's to Arashi
Ten years ago, I discovered Arashi. What began as a simple bit of afternoon fun, watching a Japanese game show I didn't quite understand about a group of idols I couldn't even pronounce the names of, soon became a fascination and a passion. As I uncovered more about this amazing group, my life was forever changed.
Was it luck? Fate perhaps? I may never know, but it doesn't matter. All I do know is that I am priviledged to have been able to find them amongst the billions of people in this world. From hundreds of miles away, they have touched my heart and become my treasure. Through all their hardship, they have inspired me. Through their laughter, they have brought me untold joy. Through their friendship, they have given me hope. Smiling has become such an easy thing to do because of these incredible boys and more than once, they have saved my life.
And even now as they take their well-deserved break, my love for them goes on. These five beautiful, talented, awe-inspiring people have captured my heart and given me the world. For that, thanks will never be enough.
So here's to you, Arashi.
