Steady work
Work today: I don't know what was up, if people had holes in their pockets or what, but I picked up six pennies on the floor. Also people started acting ditzy: forgetting bags, forgetting PINs, forgetting things they came in to get, and mostly chuckling good-naturedly about it. I couldn't help wondering if the up-coming full moon had a hand in it.
Didn't feel as hot today as yesterday: not as humid and the temp didn't go as high, and now a small thunderstorm just rumbled through and dropped the temp even lower.
Finished reading "Red Delicious" and I like the direction it's taking: our vampwere anti-heroine is standing on her own, though not after dealing with a lot of skeevy supernaturals double-crossing each other and her.
Still typing up the re-discovered YnM fic: hopefully will get it finished tonight; might prove a chore, since it came out in pieces, a few sections turned out repetitive and redundant and therefore require trimming when revision can't improve them. But the story as a whole pleases me and I hope my readers enjoy it as much as I did (and I hope that they enjoy the unexpected meeting of two characters who have yet to meet in canon).
